Why Glasgow College?

GLASGOW is a Scottish city distinguished by its beautiful views, colourful landscapes, classic architecture, and world-famous exhibitions of art and culture. It is the largest city in Scotland and the third in the United Kingdom after London and Birmingham. The people of Glasgow are known as Glaswegians. As a vital centre of trade, business, industry, communication and transport in Scotland, Glasgow is a tremendously active and cosmopolitan city. Furthermore, it is one of the twenty most important financial centres and the site of many of Scotland’s top businesses, giving the city a crucial role in the British economy.

It is for this reason that the name Glasgow College has been chosen, as a symbol of technology and culture designed for the Twenty-First Century.
